CROATIA: Entry Into Schengen Confirmed

Croatia has been confirmed as joining the Schengen Agreement from 1 January 2023.

The Croatian authorities have confirmed that short-stay visas issued by the Croatian diplomatic posts before 1 January 2023 shall remain valid for travel to Croatia and for transit through other Schengen member states for the duration of the visa.

After 1 January 2023, travelers holding a Schengen visa will be able to utilize the visa to enter Croatia, with time spent in Croatia counting towards the Schengen allowance of 90 in a 180-day period.
