Herman Van Reekum
Herman Van Reekum is a leading Canadian immigration professional with over 30 years of immigration experience. He is responsible for the overall operations and success of Newland Chase Canada. Herman worked as an immigration officer, supervisor and acting manager with the Citizenship and Immigration Canada department from 1986 to 1993. He left government service in 1993 and founded one of Canada’s largest corporate immigration firms. In 2014, Herman and his team joined forces with Newland Chase to create one of the leading providers of Canadian immigration solutions. Herman has published several articles on the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, and frequently speaks on immigration topics to various organisations. He also served as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Calgary Catholic Immigration Society and is a member of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council. He graduated from the University of Calgary with a B.A. and M.A. in Political Science. Herman is based in Calgary, Alberta.
