Global Immigration Update – 15th July 2016

In this week’s edition, we advise that the minimum salary requirement for the EU Blue Card in France has been increased, and that the UAE has ended its practice of putting family visas ‘on hold’. We also report that Egypt and Germany have signed a security cooperation agreement, a ‘visa on arrival’ programme has been introduced in Ghana for African Union nationals, and the UK’s newly appointed Prime Minister, Theresa May, has created a new cabinet role of ‘Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union’.
