LUXEMBOURG: Minimum Wage Increases

Effective 1 August 2018, the statutory minimum wage in Luxembourg has increased by 2.5%. Wages in Luxembourg are pegged to the cost of living (consumer price inflation).

The minimum monthly salary for unskilled workers has increased to EUR 2048.54, up from EUR 1998.59.

The minimum wage for skilled workers, which is 20% higher than that for unskilled workers, has increased to EUR 2458.25, up from EUR 2398.30.

A higher salary threshold, based on the average annual salary for the specific job, applies to EU Blue Card applications.
