Temporary Residence for Working Purposes requires the applicant to enter into a local contract with the Honduran entity. It may be issued for between one and five years depending on the applicant’s needs. The applicant must have an employment contract directly with the Honduran entity. It is generally permitted for the applicant to start working before temporary residence approval as long as the application has been submitted to the relevant immigration and labour authorities, but this should be checked on a case-by-case basis.
