Kimberley Colthrust is a Senior Immigration Consultant at Newland Chase, specializing in UK immigration and sponsor compliance. As a solicitor, she advises corporate clients across diverse sectors—including financial services, technology, energy, healthcare, and education—on navigating complex immigration frameworks and managing sponsor duties.
With deep expertise in business immigration, Kimberley supports organizations during mergers, acquisitions, restructures, TUPE transfers, and changes in ownership, ensuring compliance is maintained throughout. She also partners with SMEs on sponsor license applications and the ongoing management of their immigration programs.
Prior to joining Newland Chase in October 2024, Kimberley spent over a decade as a corporate immigration adviser at leading Big Four and Legal 500 firms. Her previous roles involved managing key client accounts, delivering bespoke training sessions, and contributing to thought leadership on eVisas, sponsorship obligations, and clawback clauses.
Kimberley holds an LLB (Hons) in Commercial Law, a Diploma in Legal Practice, and was admitted as a Solicitor of England and Wales in 2024. She is a member of the Law Society and the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association (ILPA).
She is also committed to youth development and has volunteered with School 21 and Debate Mate, helping young students strengthen their communication and public speaking skills.
