CIBT (parent company of Newland Chase) is pleased to announce the appointment of Timothy Hughes as Chief Financial Officer, effective April 1, 2026. His addition marks a significant step forward as the organization continues to scale its global operations and enhance the financial infrastructure that supports clients in navigating complex cross-border requirements. Hughes brings extensive experience in global finance and operations, with a proven ability to partner with executive leadership, investors, and lenders to build disciplined, high-performing financial organizations. His appointment reinforces CIBT’s commitment to delivering stability, scalability, and long-term value for clients and stakeholders. 

Prior to joining CIBT, Hughes served as both Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of a private equity-backed healthcare company in the United States. During his tenure, he played a critical role in scaling the business, establishing robust finance, accounting, treasury, and HR frameworks, and supporting strategic growth initiatives, including acquisitions. His career also includes leadership roles as CFO of Pilot Fiber, alongside senior advisory and restructuring positions at Alvarez & Marsal, Cain Brothers, Zolfo Cooper, and UBS Investment Bank.
