We’re pleased to announce the appointment of three accomplished leaders to key positions across our global organization. These strategic hires reflect our company’s continued investment in senior talent to strengthen operations, enhance our client experience, and scale for growth across our brands, including Newland Chase, Blair, and CIBTvisas.
Liz Emmott joins CIBT as Chief Revenue Officer, with responsibility for global sales, marketing, client management, and partnerships. With more than 25 years of experience in commercial leadership across travel, payments, and SaaS—including senior roles at American Express, Amadeus, and Trainline—Liz brings a proven track record of building and scaling revenue engines. Her global perspective and leadership will help shape CIBT’s next phase of commercial growth.
Salman Cheema has been appointed Vice President, Immigration Advisory at Newland Chase. Based in Washington, D.C., Salman joins CIBT after nearly five years at Amazon, where he led global immigration programs across 60+ markets. His client-side perspective, strategic advisory background, and deep subject-matter expertise will play a central role in expanding Newland Chase’s advisory services. Salman will report to Ray Rackham, who is spearheading the development of a consultancy-grade immigration advisory platform to meet the evolving needs of global clients.
Nadia Idries has joined as Managing Director, UK & Ireland, at Newland Chase, bringing more than 19 years of corporate immigration experience. A solicitor of England and Wales, Nadia has held senior leadership roles at some of the UK’s largest immigration firms. Her expertise in transforming operations, driving strategic growth, and shaping immigration policy makes her a valuable addition to the team as she leads one of Newland Chase’s most critical markets.
These appointments reflect a broader strategy to develop our high-performing leadership team that will continue to drive innovation, operational excellence, and sustained value for clients around the world.
“Each of these leaders brings deep expertise, fresh perspective, and a track record of delivering impact in complex, global environments,” said Steve Diehl, CEO of CIBT. “Their appointments reflect our commitment to building a stronger, more client-centric organization and to leading the next chapter of growth with purpose and precision. I’m thrilled to welcome Nadia, Salman, and Liz to the team.”
