John O’Connell

John O’Connell serves as Chief Operating Officer at CIBT, overseeing service delivery across the company’s global visa, immigration, and document services portfolio. With more than 25 years of leadership experience in the corporate relocation and mobility industry, John brings a strong track record of operational excellence and client-centric innovation to CIBT’s leadership team.

Prior to joining CIBT, John held multiple global leadership roles at Sirva Worldwide, including Executive Vice President of Global Account Management and Supply Chain. His responsibilities spanned operations, supply chain optimization, and client services, where he consistently delivered scalable solutions that enhanced performance and efficiency for global clients. His deep expertise in managing complex, multi-regional operations positions him to drive continued growth and quality for CIBT’s diverse client base.

John holds a B.A. in Spanish from DePauw University and an M.B.A. in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He has lived and worked in France, the UK, and Spain, bringing a global perspective to his role. Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, John is also an avid cyclist and frequent traveler.
