Based in Buenos Aires, Merlin Delgado leads Newland Chase’s immigration operations across Argentina with additional responsibilities across the wider Latin America region. As Immigration Director, she oversees a diverse team spanning the LATAM Hub, the Argentina national office, and the Outbound US/Canada unit. With over a decade of regional expertise and eight years at Newland Chase, Merlin provides strategic direction and operational leadership across client service, compliance, and partner engagement.
Merlin acts as legal representative for the Argentina entity, managing corporate, tax, and accounting responsibilities, while also guiding cross-border immigration programs, residency management, and document legalizations across Latin America and the Caribbean. She is responsible for maintaining high service standards across key client relationships, including many global organizations.
Her earlier professional background in Venezuela spanned oil and gas administration, customs, supply chain, and corporate law. Since relocating to Argentina, she has developed deep technical expertise in immigration law and global mobility, becoming a trusted advisor for clients navigating complex regional regulations. Fluent in English and Spanish, Merlin holds a law degree from Universidad del Zulia and studied business administration at Universidad Rafael Belloso Chacín. She has also completed advanced postgraduate training in materials and logistics.
