Philippines: ACR-I annual reporting reminder.
December 19, 2024
By: Patricia Clarino, Senior Manager, Newland Chase Advisory
The Philippine Bureau of Immigration (BOI) has issued a notice to remind foreign nationals holding an Alien Certificate Registration (ACR-I) card to complete the mandatory annual reporting between January 1, 2025 and March 1, 2025.
Personal appearance is mandatory for ACR-I cardholders. Individuals will need to bring their original ACR-I card/original paper-based ACR together with their original valid passport. BOI no longer allow representatives to complete the annual report on behalf of the ACR-I cardholder.
Certain individuals are exempted from the mandatory personal appearance and they are:
- Those below 14 years old or those 60 years old and above;
- Those who hold a Person with a Disability ID; and
- Pregnant women and foreign nationals with medical conditions who are able to present a medical certificate.
