CHINA – Visa-free Travel for Singaporeans Resumes

July 24, 2023

In March 2020, the visa free travel of Singaporeans into China was suspended by the authorities until further notice.

It has now been announced that the reinstatement of the 15-day visa free travel for citizens of Singapore into China will take effect on 26 July 2023 at 12:00 am Beijing time. Singaporean citizens would be able to travel to China again for up to 15 days without having to apply for a visa for purposes of business, tourism, transit and family visit.

Any visas issued prior to this change will still be valid for travel and existing applications filed with the consulate will be processed accordingly.
