Carlijn Langeveld
As Senior Manager in Newland Chase Consulting, Carlijn delivers strategic immigration advice across a wide range of industries and company sizes. She has been working in corporate immigration since 2007 and brings deep technical knowledge to every engagement – whether she is advising a single international assignee on a particularly complex scenario, or guiding a multinational through the immigration implications of a global restructuring.
Among her specialties is the application of EU legislation to cross-border mobility scenarios, including advice on posted worker compliance, as well as leveraging the advantages of available intra-EU mobility rules to obtain the most efficient solutions for her clients. Furthermore, she supports companies with assessing and improving their immigration compliance by reviewing their internal processes through mock audits and development of immigration policies and compliance guidebooks.
Carlijn holds an MSc in Experimental Physics from Utrecht University and applies the analytical rigour of that background to her legal research and client-facing work on a daily basis.
