QATAR – Employee registration on NAS

The Qatari authorities have introduced a new process to attest work contracts in Qatar. When processing an application for a Residence Permit in Qatar, the authorities will review and attest the work/employment contract. As part of the new process, sponsoring Qatari companies and the foreign national applying for the Residence Permit will need to be registered on the National Authentication System (NAS). Previously only authorised representatives of the Qatari sponsoring company were required to be registered on the NAS.
