Newland Chase Consulting has been named Global Mobility Content Provider of the Year in the GMPD 2026 awards, run by the Expat Academy.

The award recognises Newland Chase Consulting’s contribution to the GMPD programme. The team works with the programme in two ways: as a GMPD Subject Matter Expert, and as an Expat Academy Partner.

A partnership built on expertise

The GMPD programme brings together global mobility professionals at every stage of their careers, from experienced Global Heads to people new to the industry.

  • As a GMPD Subject Matter Expert, Newland Chase Consulting brings its immigration and global mobility knowledge directly to programme members.
  • As an Expat Academy Partner, it helps shape the learning the programme offers.

The result is timely, practical content that helps mobility professionals stay ahead of a fast-moving landscape. Over the past year, that has included:

  • rolling updates when conflict broke out in the Middle East, and
  • analysis of the wider immigration trends shaping global mobility.

Stuart Jackson, Head of Policy, Research & Content at GMPD, said:

“Newland Chase Consulting has been a standout contributor to the GMPD programme. Their content is timely, clear and genuinely useful, whether that’s rolling updates when conflict broke out in the Middle East, or thoughtful analysis of the wider immigration trends shaping Global Mobility. Everyone on our GMPD programme, from experienced Global Heads to those new to the industry, has benefited from their expertise, and we’re delighted to recognise them as our Global Mobility Content Provider of the Year.”

Clarity when it matters most

Salman Cheema, VP of Immigration Consulting at Newland Chase Consulting, said:

“When conflict broke out in the Middle East, our clients needed clarity fast. Our team delivered rolling updates as the situation evolved, giving mobility leaders the information they needed to make timely decisions about their people. That responsiveness is at the heart of what the Consulting team does every day: helping clients anticipate immigration change, understand what it means for their business, and act with confidence. We’re grateful to the Expat Academy and the GMPD community for this recognition, and proud of a team that shows up when it matters most.”

Ray Rackham, Co-Chair at Newland Chase, added:

“At Newland Chase Consulting, we believe that good content informs, great content educates, and exceptional content navigates. This wonderful award is recognition of our ability to do just that, which makes me exceptionally proud of my colleagues across the world. Thank you to the Expat Academy and to GMPD members for putting their trust in us, we are incredibly honoured that you do.”

Looking ahead

Newland Chase Consulting will continue to work with the Expat Academy and the GMPD community. The goal is to give global mobility professionals the insight they need to anticipate immigration change and act with confidence.
