KAZAHKSTAN: Visa Waiver for Business and Tourist Travellers

Kazakhstan is due to introduce a visa waiver programme for nationals of the following 10 countries, who wish to enter or transit through for business or tourism purposes:
France
Germany
Holland
Italy
Japan
Malaysia
South Korea
United Arab Emirates
United Kingdom
United States of America.
The programme will come into effect on 15th July and will last for 12 months. The visa waiver will be valid only for up to 15 days.
Kazakhstan”s President Nursultan Nazarbayev announced that ‘to expand business contacts, international cooperation between business communities, we need to remove visa barriers’. The 10 countries benefitting from the programme have been chosen due to the sizable investments they have made in Kazakhstan.
