COMPLIANCE CORNER – Posted Worker Notification Inspections

May 26, 2023

The European Labour Authority (ELA), established in July 2019, was created to facilitate the application and enforcement of EU rules regarding labour mobility and social security coordination in a fair, simple and effective way.  One of the ELA’s focus will be to work with Member States to conduct site inspections, and it has been indicated that they expect the number of site inspections to increase significantly from January 2024.

We have already seen an increased number of site inspections, with a focus on compliant and timely filing of Posted Worker Notifications.

Companies are therefore recommended to actively review their policies regarding filing Posted Worker Notifications in preparation for any onsite inspections.
