VIETNAM – Foreign Utilization Semi-Annual Mandatory Reporting

Employers in Vietnam who have foreign employees holding valid or current work permits are required to complete a semi-annual report regarding their utilization of foreign manpower by 7 July 2023.
The first half-year reporting requirement is due every first week of July of the following year and covers the period from 15 December of the previous reporting year up to 14 June of the current reporting year. An annual report is due every 5 January of the following year and covers the period from 15 December of the previous year to December 14 of the reporting year.
Failure to complete this mandatory requirement may result in fines in accordance with the decree on administrative violations on HR related matters. Newland Chase will be able to assist employers to complete this process.
