SINGAPORE: Contact Details Required for Pass Application, Issuance or Renewal

Effective 26th January 2018, employers must provide their foreign workers’ contact details to complete transactions via the Ministry of Manpower’s EP Online for Employment Pass (EP), S Pass, Training EP, Dependant’s Pass or Long-Term Visit Pass.
Contact details are required to enable pass holders to receive important updates during emergencies or on their pass-related matters.
The pass holder’s email address is required for pass applications, and their email address and Singapore mobile number are both required for pass renewal or issuance requests.
This requirement was introduced for Work Permit holders in November 2017.

Employers must be ready to provide their foreign workers’ Singapore mobile numbers and email addresses when making transactions via EP Online.
