AUSTRALIA: Chinese Nationals Now Eligible for Work and Holiday Visas

The Australian Government have added China to the list of countries whose nationals are eligible to apply for Work and Holiday visa applications.
Although applications for this visa type cannot be made by post, providing the applicant is the holder of a valid passport issued by the People’s Republic of China they can submit Work and Holiday visa applications by appointment at one of the three Visa Application Centres in Beijing, Guangzhou or Shanghai.
The Work and Holiday visa permits Chinese nationals to stay in Australia for up to 12 months, with the freedom of multiple entries into the country.
This allows Australian employers to hire eligible young workers on a temporary basis, providing they have successfully completed at least two years of university study and can demonstrate a functional level of English language ability.
