Business Travel and Immigration Post-Brexit
Ensure your business and workforce are compliant with the new immigration regulations.
A Special Message from our Global Managing Director in Response to COVID-19
March 20, 2020
On behalf of our entire organization and in light of recent global events, I would like to personally take this opportunity to provide you with several important updates related to the immigration and advisory services that Newland Chase provides to your organization.
First, I would like to extend my appreciation for your support to our team members during this time. We have seen countless examples of our clients reaching out to confirm that our employees are safe, healthy and secure. The health and well-being of our employees and our clients is our top priority. We have made arrangements, where possible, for most staff worldwide to work remotely. And, for our employees who are required to meet with clients or government agencies in person, we are taking the appropriate measures to ensure that their exposure to others is limited as much as possible. We are both grateful and appreciative of your partnership in this time, and for your caring and compassion for our team.
Second, I would like to assure you that we have taken painstaking measures to ensure business continuity and that our commitments to you are consistently upheld. During the past several weeks, we have implemented contingency plans that we never anticipated deploying simultaneously across our 25-country footprint. We feel confident that our immigration attorneys, consultants, client service managers, and support staff are well equipped and prepared to provide you with the consultative, agile and timely solutions that are especially critical at this time.
Across the globe, our employees are working closely with local government authorities to monitor and report on the most recent policy changes. We understand that our clients are confronted with making decisions at an unprecedented pace; decisions that determine if an employee can or should return to his or her home country – or to another country – to be with family and loved ones. These moments remind us that we are all connected like never before.
Our advisory team has worked tirelessly to maintain the most comprehensive database of COVID-19 related changes, which are available on a dedicated Newland Chase portal. This resource is an exceptional starting point for clients who are seeking the most current guidance. Additionally, our advisors are available to personally consult with you and may have already been in touch to arrange a time to speak; if you would like to book in, please contact us (or contact your usual Newland Chase expert). We are here to support you.
Additionally, we are closely monitoring and tracking macro-level mobility trends across all industry sectors. We understand that our clients are eager to understand how other companies operating in similar verticals – and faced with similar challenges – are addressing these unique circumstances. We will be hosting a webinar that will specifically address the impacts of the pandemic entitled COVID-19 and Mobility: Global Travel and Immigration Impacts. You may register for this session here.
At Newland Chase, we have incredible optimism in the important role that global mobility – and the need for immigration and visa services – will continue to play. The investments that governments, public, and private sector companies will invest to find a cure for COVID-19 and to mitigate future pandemics cannot be understated. As we prepare for volatility and uncertainty over the coming months, if not longer, strategy, the decisions we make, and our execution as an organization will matter more than ever.
In these times, we are required to present our very best capabilities, with understanding, patience and compassion. On behalf of all of us at Newland Chase, we are committed to achieving the best possible results together.
