CIBT Achieves Three Honorees in Who’s Who Legal

CIBT/Newland Chase is proud to announce Daniela Lima, Jane Pilkington, and Mandy Janzen-Westerburgen have all been honored for their professional achievements by Who’s Who Legal (WWL).
For nearly the past 30 years, WWL has identified the foremost legal practitioners and consulting experts in business law based upon comprehensive, independent research. Daniela Lima, VP Immigration Americas, has been cited for her work in three categories: Thought Leaders Global Elite – Corporate Immigration 2023, Thought Leaders – Corporate Immigration 2023, and Thought Leaders – Brazil – Corporate Immigration 2022. The work of Jane Pilkington, Managing Director, Ireland, was noted in two categories: Thought Leaders – Corporate Immigration 2023, and Global Leader – Corporate Immigration 2022. Finally, Mandy Janzen-Westerburgen, Regional Immigration Service Delivery Leader – Benelux and Nordics, was named a Future Leader in the Corporate Immigration category.
Daniela has been a lawyer since 2004 in the OAB/SP (Brazilian Bar Association) and also has an MBA in Strategic Management and Business Economics. She has extensive immigration experience in Brazil and Latin America and has set up and managed multiple offices including establishing, hiring and training immigration teams.
Daniela said about her inclusion: “It´s absolutely an honor for me be to be listed in three publications: Thought Leaders Corporate Immigration 2023; Corporate Immigration 2023 and even more as Global Thought Leaders as a few professionals were listed on this category. I feel very fortunate to have clients and colleagues that trusted on me along all these years and made my nomination possible.”
Jane brings with her more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of Irish business and private client immigration. Prior to joining Newland Chase, Jane was a partner in one of Ireland’s leading law firms, specializing in corporate immigration and commercial litigation.
She said: “It’s a real honor to be listed again in Who’s Who Legal: Corporate Immigration 2023, and to also be highlighted as a Corporate Immigration Thought Leader. The 2023 research report features 708 immigration lawyers from 43 jurisdictions who are truly the best of the best. I’ve been advising clients on Irish immigration for 23 years now and truly appreciate all the support and wonderful feedback from clients, colleagues and friends.”
Mandy has been an attorney-at-law specializing in international labor law and (labor) migration for almost a decade and has won the international client choice award for corporate immigration prior to joining Newland Chase. She has been noted as a leader in Dutch immigration law for a few years running and teaches immigration to other lawyers and educational institutions. In her spare time, she also assesses immigration related dissertations at her former University.
Mandy said: “It’s amazing to again be admitted to the Who’s Who Legal experts list on Corporate Immigration as a Leader under the age of 45 and the pre-eminent name of the next generation! Age does not matter when it comes to expertise, it is the passion for the business that counts.
