CIBT Honored with Two Awards at FEM EMMAs

November 30, 2022

CIBT is proud to announce we were twice honored at the Forum for Expatriate Management’s (FEM) Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards on 02 November in London.  CIBT received the Best Partnership between a Corporate Organization and a Service Provider award for the work performed by CIBT’s Newland Chase subsidiary and client Foster + Partners. Ray Rackham, CIBT’s Managing Director for the United Kingdom, also won the Global Mobility Professional of the Year.

“Whilst I am absolutely delighted and honoured to receive the award for Global Mobility Professional of the Year,” Rackham said after his win, “I am equally thrilled that our longstanding partnership with Foster + Partners was recognised by the award for Best Partnership Between an Organisation and Service Provider. This is a partnership that has developed over time, and is based on a foundation of trust, authenticity and credibility; with each side committed to the other’s success. Our clients’ success acts as a driving force in everything we do, and to see one of our most successful relationships being recognised with an award at the prestigious EMMAs is hugely satisfying.”

The Global Mobility Professional of the Year award was one selected by Rackham’s peers in the industry. It recognizes Ray’s two decades of experience in the field of corporate immigration. Rackham is a qualified solicitor with experience in the Private, Public, Legal and Financial Sectors, and has been a key figure in Newland Chase’s strategic development in the EMEA region.

The Best Partnership between a Corporate Organization and a Service Provider award was bestowed upon Newland Chase and Foster + Partners in recognition of their efforts on behalf of displaced Ukrainians. Newland Chase helped Foster + Partners navigate the emergency measures put in place by the European Union and United Kingdom in response to the Russia-Ukraine conflict to compliantly employ Ukrainian design professionals.

“We’re thrilled to share this award with our friends at Newland Chase,” said Matthew Traynor, Global Mobility Advisor at Foster + Partners. “Newland Chase has been a core element in our ambitions in continued growth as well as providing expert advice when dealing with a number queries surrounding issues caused by the conflict in Ukraine – at home and abroad. The relationship really grew in to a key partnership when the realities of the UK leaving the European Union fully took hold and as such, the team at NC reacted to better serve our increased need for support with great professionalism and with an understanding of the practice ethos and vision for the future.”
