CoS Allocations Update

We are pleased to inform all our clients that their CoS allocations have been granted, and the issuing of CoS and processing of Tier 2 visa applications can continue as normal.

We have been advised by the UK Border Agency that due to limited resources their team has been unable to award the yearly allocation of Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS) to employers by the renewal date of 5th April 2012. Consequently, the vast majority of employers should note that they will not be able to assign any certificates until the allocations have been confirmed.
Clearly, this will impact employers who are wishing to bring assignees to the UK on short notice, as well as of course those assignees who are in the process of renewing their visas.
Newland Chase are working to resolve this situation and will provide further updates when possible. However in the meantime, we will be glad to provide support and guidance to Sponsors or indeed anyone whose UK visa application may be affected.
