MEXICO: Delays Expected at Immigration Offices

December 4, 2018

As a new administration takes office in Mexico, major staff changes are expected to take place in the upcoming days within the offices of the National Immigration institute (INM) around the country, including at international airports.

These changes are expected to affect the processing times of submitted applications.

Moreover, these staff changes coincide with the holiday season, when INM offices close for ten days. The specific dates for this closure are yet to be confirmed.
