Expat Academy Amsterdam – Network Huddle
December 12, 2017
The aim of the Amsterdam Network Huddle is for global mobility professionals to work collaboratively with their peers, sharing their operational challenges and gaining advice from fellow network members and industry experts.
The event will host a combination of roundtable sessions to discuss current issues, presentations from technical experts and corporate updates from members on their latest challenges and projects.
Join Joost Zoetemeyer, Newland Chase Senior Immigration Specialist and Mehibe Hill, Strategic Services Manager, at 3:15pm as they present their session “EU Posted Workers: What Every Dutch Business Needs to Know”.
Enforcement of the Posted Worker Rules is on the rise in the EU. Increasingly, unannounced workplace inspections and the imposition of fines for late filings of posted worker declarations are becoming the norm in many jurisdictions. This session will cover the vital information Netherlands-based businesses need to know to maintain compliance with these changing requirements.
The session will cover:
- how and when to file the required notices with labour authorities
- the status of the new electronic notification system
- what specific employment documents employers are required to retain (and in what form and for how long)
- how and who to appoint as your designated representative to deal with authorities regarding the posting
This is a free, invitation-only event to in-house global mobility professionals.
