Ben Sookia

EMEA Advisory Services Manager

Ben Sookia is an EMEA Advisory Services Manager at Newland Chase, specializing in guiding clients on complex and strategic project management of global immigration matters.  His role includes consulting corporate clients on work permit processes and identifying potential exemptions.  His recent work has focused on Brexit-related options for UK nationals traveling to the EU and advising clients in the sports and entertainment sector.  He has several years’ experience advising a range of companies on immigration compliance in the IT, oil and gas and pharmaceutical sectors and has also managed short-term global immigration assignments for international law firms and media corporations.

Ben has more than 10 years’ experience in corporate immigration. Prior to joining Newland Chase, he established the global immigration practice for a UK law firm and led the EMEA immigration practice for a global relocation and mobility services company.

Ben studied languages at the University of Nottingham and speaks English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. He also has a postgraduate law degree from the University of Law.
