Carsten Østberg

As Chief Strategy Officer, Travel Services, Carsten Østberg is responsible for driving growth and expansion of the brand across the business. Working in close partnership with Commercial, Service, Product and Marketing senior leaders, he acts as the central point for aligning and coordinating priorities, developing and executing a highly competitive business strategy that meets current and future market needs, promotes financial health and growth, and strengthens the company’s travel services brand.

Carsten joined CIBT in 2018 at Managing Director of the Nordic region and has led CIBT in different senior leadership capacities throughout Europe. Prior to CIBT, Carsten held roles in the travel industry, with the logistics company DHL, and is a military veteran with the Danish Army. Carsten is fluent in four languages and splits time between Denmark and Sweden.
