The Population and Immigration Authority of the Ministry of Interior has formally announced that, within the coming weeks, they will be conducting unannounced and extensive enforcement inspections at companies employing foreign workers and refugees.

According to the announcement, the inspections will review, inter alia, labour and immigration compliance, violations of work permit terms and breach of geographical (place of work) rules. The authority warns of legal action in case of company violations.
