MEXICO: Elimination of Electronic Visa for Brazilian Nationals

August 4, 2022

On August 3, 2022, an official Agreement was published which states that from August 18, 2022, Brazilian nationals who enter Mexico as Visitors without Permit to Perform Remunerated Activities (tourism / business), will no longer be able to process an electronic visa.

Brazilians who enter by air, land or sea, must process a visa at the Mexican Consulate in their country of residence. For requirements and processing times to obtain this visa, we recommend to contact the consular authorities.

Please consider that consular visa does not guarantee the admission to Mexico, since the immigration authorities may require more information or documents regarding the trip.
