NEW ZEALAND: Centralised Visa Lodgement
January 28, 2019
Effective 14 January 2019, paper and online visa applications received from applicants resident in the Wellington and Palmerston North regions of New Zealand (except student applications) have begun to be directed to Auckland’s National Documentation Office (NaDO).
NaDO will check whether all of the mandatory lodgement requirements have been met before distributing applications to the appropriate processing office.
From 4 February 2019, paper and online student visa applications from within New Zealand must go through NaDO, and from 3 June 2019 paper applications from the South Island must go through NaDO. Note that there is no change to student applications submitted directly through a provider.
This change has little effect on the online visa application process, but paper applications must be sent to the below address, in line with the above dates:
Immigration New Zealand, PO Box 76895. Manakau City, Auckland 2241, New Zealand
