NEW ZEALAND: Skilled Migrant Points Threshold

Immigration New Zealand has announced it will resume processing Expressions of Interests (EOI) submitted for the Skilled Migrant Category (SMC) for any new EOIs submitted on or prior to 9 November 2022. The threshold for this initial batch of EOIs on 9 November 2022 will be 160 points.
A 180-point threshold will apply to the second batch of EOIs that are expected to be processed on 18 January 2023. After this date, EOI process will be scheduled every third Wednesday of the month.
INZ has also advised that a new points system will be implemented after June 2023.
