RUSSIA: Head Migration Office Temporarily Closed Due to Change of Address

September 7, 2016

The Head Migration Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, formerly the Federal Migration Service (FMS) of Russia, is moving to a new location. The new address for applications will be 4 Boyarsky Pereulok, Moscow.

Consequently, applications are no longer being accepted, nor documents issued, at the previous address of Building 1, 4 Verkhnyaya Radischevskaya, Moscow.

Between 5th and 9th September 2016, the Head Migration Office has temporarily stopped accepting applications and issuing letters of invitation and work permits for highly qualified specialists (HQS) due to this changeover of premises.

Processing delays should, therefore, be expected when submitting applications under the HQS category.
