Sponsor Licence Holders Receive UKBA Email In Error

We have been made aware of a malfunction with the UK Border Agency”s IT systems which resulted in Sponsor Licence holders being incorrectly informed that their applications for Sponsor Licences have been rejected. Sponsors were emailed with this erroneous news regardless of whether or not they had actually recently submitted a License application.
The UKBA have advised us that anyone with access to the Sponsorship Management System (SMS) should disregard any email of this nature received yesterday and continue to use the SMS as normal.
