October 14, 2022

Authorities in the Czech Republic have announced that Russian nationals holding a valid Schengen visa and traveling for the purpose of tourism, sport or culture will be refused entry to the Czech Republic from 25 October 2022.

The Czech authorities have not included entry for business purposes in the banned categories. However, it is not yet clear whether Russian nationals traveling to the Czech Republic for business purposes will be granted entry.

Russian nationals holding a residence permit or D visa may still be granted entry.
